I was able to get online reliably over the weekend, downloaded my GZ save data, and then promptly went back offline. Menus took forever to load with it online.

@dave_tacitus: It sounds like my case is an outlier, since MD has been sending out emails every other week with status updates. The manufacturer may have screwed up, which makes me nervous about the final product.

Somewhat related question: how has everyone's experience been with MassDrop? I ordered a KC60 from them back in June, and it's been a barrage of delays (the vendor claims that they're supposed to receive the finished keyboards today, and MD will be sending them out "towards the end of the month"). Is this a common experience, or did I just get unlucky?

I just wanted to say thanks a bunch -- I just started playing BG I&II on iPad and PC (you can kind of sync between them now), and D&D 2.5 have been kind of obtuse up until now. These games are absolutely gigantic.

@raven_sword:The power save settings will put the console into a deep sleep mode, but it'll be awake enough to finish large downloads, install them, and then put itself to sleep. It won't be running on full-blast during that time, though.

@homelessbird: The majority ruling actually called out that this only applies to state-performed marriages (eg: judges, clerks, etc.). Religious officiants can decline if they so choose.

@thatpinguino: The piano puzzle will make you want to cry.

Is it worth loading up Win95/98/XP in a VM?

@rebel_scum: That version is realMyst -- Masterpiece Edition has higher-res still images, while realMyst is a full 3D rendering.

@cbyrne: That "do not read" envelope was instructions on how to use the switches/map/watchtower.

I've had success with getting realMyst (the 3D port) to run properly in Win7/Win8, complete with saving.

Without getting too spoilery, you won't need to know how to play the piano in a traditional sense.
