I started out wanting to make a Ghost House entirely out of ice blocks. But as the level started taking shape, I found the primary design ethos turned to a desire to keep the player under a constant state of tension. The ice blocks make for tricky navigation and the copious Boos, Dry Bones and Spike Tops aren't too threatening, but they're there to keep players on the toes.

@fishbuddy: PoE has four flavors: Level 28, 32, 34, and 35. Level 28 has random modifiers for rounds 2, 3, 4 and 5 and a random boss at round 5 and supports matchmaking. So you can go in solo and the game will pair you up with other Guardians.

Levels 32 and higher require pre-made Fireteams and feature set rounds, modifiers and bosses. But you'll get drops enabling you to make purchases from Variks, the PoE vendor, as well as Etheric Light, the item needed to boost non-House of Wolves Legendary gear to top-end Year 1 stats.

Took long enough to get that Republic Commando sequel.

Wait. There's nothing in the 1st DLC that you can take advantage of until after you've hit max level and started earning Light Levels. Finish leveling your dude and experience some of the vanilla end game content, see how you still feel about the game. ...because Crota's End is just more of that.

I think my group can help you out, duder. We still run VoG Hard and Crota Normal (occasionally hard) on the regular!

I'm disappointed. I love playing with my raid group, but there's only so many activities for us to do together and we're all feeling one degree or another of burnt out on what's on offer. Knowing that there won't be another raid (or otherwise 6-player activity) for the foreseeable future feels real shitty.
