Favourite Old Games of the Year 2018
Since I'm trying to buy less new games this year, I've been playing a lot of older games. I'm gonna be listing some of my favourites here, for memory's sake.

This game so cool and fun!!! I wish I played it when I saw it getting released on the DS, I would have loved it back then. It hits me in all my aesthetic weak spots. The puzzles!!! They're abstract and generic but they're structured so well!! Aahhh!! Sometimes maths can be so good!

I'm not sure why but i got back into this pretty hard. I stopped when the whole thing happened and left a bad taste in my mouth though. I named a character Bike O'Mrien and felt a bit better.

This suddenly got a huge "purr-fect edition" update this year. Cat hats!
It's still one of my top favourite picross games. definitely the phone picross game i like the most!

Uh?? This game kicks ass??? This is some of the most Samurai shit I ever laid my hands on. I hate that it's like 75 GB and disk bandwidth dependent though

This is kinda new-ish, I guess (came out December last year for Android). I'd been playing the Merriam-Webster dailies so it does feel a bit old. Anyway, I'm still doing the dailies. I very much enjoy it.

Mass Effect: still cool! I'm going back and forth between this and Dragon Age.

yeah... I'm still playing this stupid game. They updated with a UI overhaul this year. The UI still sucks, but it's slightly better now...

weirdly enough, the combat holds up better than I expected. Gosh the writing absolutely does not though.

the movement controls are kinda fucked up but hey, this seems cool!
