As you noted, business/marketing lingo is so awful. I'm glad that, due to "fundamental shifts in my free time," I've "pivoted my hobbies" away from games this year and "shifted my leisure activities to a be a broader experience that allows for more variety." Ew. Now I need to go take a shower or something.
I've been burned out on pretty much all comic book media for at least two years, if not longer. This trailer has me pumped though. The music and the editing worked really well together, and I'm psyched to check this out.
@bigsocrates: I voted yes, and I basically agree with all your points. I'm not sure why you're getting so much heat for what is, in my opinion, an entirely reasonable position.
I have no idea what this is. I may or may not watch it eventually.
BUT...I saw your poll option about the 5 star rating system and I couldn't help but vent. That new thumbs up/thumbs down system SUCKS. The fact that there's no gray area for a movie that's just okay is obviously the biggest problem. I can be kind of forgetful though, and the fact that I can no longer tell if I've already watched a movie (and perhaps only rated it 3 stars) makes the change even more frustrating.
Anyway... Live action anime is probably not for me.
At the moment, I read Nier as "nigh-er" 100% of the time, and when I hear people on podcasts say "near," it takes me a second to figure out what the hell they're talking about. Similarly, I still see/say Nioh as "nigh-oh." There is no way I can convince myself that it should be pronounced "neo."
Looked cool to me. I haven't played a Call of Duty since Black Ops 2. I thought all the future shit was exceptionally stupid, and I'm pleased they've changed things up, even if it's a return to an older style of game.
