I had a really wierd bug, shame I didnt record it because it was pretty hilarious. The first conversation I had with Liara on normandy shepard and liaras head would follow the little robot guy around making their head twist in really creepy ways (excorsist style), while talking to eachother.

And now that you mention it yeah I think there was a couple of scenes where the "lipsync" was off and some conversation was abit wierd.

Uhm, the Multiplayer maps and the side mission versions are identical, with maybe a few paths blocked off. So yeah, playing the MP maps before I did the side missions i instantly recognised them and could navigate them just as I did in Multiplayer. Didn't really bothered me since they added a reasoning for the multiplayer part of the maps, basicly you secure the areas as Shepard in the single player, Hackett will tell you its not totally secure so he is gonna place a garrison in the area, wich is basicly the squad you play as in multiplayer. Once you hit the MP max level on a class you can even promote it to the War Assets map in the single player, thought that was cool, if only your war assets actually mattered, shame about that =)

The side missions are fine, they are very much like the ones you find in ME2, problem is, there is ONLY 6 side missions in total, ME2 had tons of side missions, I especially loved the "hidden" side missions wich you could only find if you scanned a planet and found a white dot, sort of like the silly "overhear conversation, grab a thingy, return to the citadel" in ME3, you actually got a fully fleshed out side mission with paragon / renegade choices and alittle story around them.

Also had a few "chain quests" like the blue suns side missions that ends with the hijacked spaceship.

Feels like they had to cut alot of stuff out due to the short development time compared to the two games prior.

And honestly, might be abit harsh, but ME3 feels like what an expansion would be like 6-8years ago, content wise and not to mention the extremely similar gameplay mechanics with some updates etc. Best comparison I could think is what The Frozen Throne was to Reign of Chaos (Warcraft 3 Expansion).

Come to think of it, most "3s" thats come out the last few years has felt like expansions with minor tweaks here and there with a few new things added in and the continuation of the story, add some pretty graphics in aswell.

I had my Jacob going through the Shaft, he did volunteer for it even though Miranda told him only a tech expert could do it, I mean he raised his hand and all, how can I deny him that?

Suffice to say, he took a rocket to the face. That was some pure comedy gold in his death for my save.

Oh yeah my whole crew got smoked including that hot redhead secretary because according to Dr Shakwas, I was too slow, cant a man enjoy some Pyjak shooting on Tuchanka before he goes on some suicide mission?

The mortar is just overpowered on certain maps with small streets and small chokepoints, like the Seine crossing map on Conquest we played earlier on the tnt server (allthough there was apparently a cheater on one team), we got into the impossible position where one team had the 2bases on their side and the one in the middle controlling the river crossing, making the 2base team to be forced into small chokes where you would either get shot if you tried to advance or you get hit by mortars trying to defend our last 2bases.

Another point was in that bazzar map on rush, where you get the small, small alleyways wich the attackers has to assault to get to ther mcoms, huge chokepoint and was forced into slowly advancing with mortars raining death on the attackers.

On maps like caspian border though it becomes less usefull and you wont get the ridicolous stats simply because most people are on the move all over the map pretty much constantly.

I see it as hugely overpowered in Rush and should be considered having a limited amount of shells with no restocking on Rush. It's funny how people used to complain about grenade launchers, now we got a completely new beast, a noobtuber and a camper! :D

Find somewhere to hide, let the scripted event finish "that section" go onto the next part, you could probably play major parts of the game like this. Really think reviewers are too kind to the game just because of the MP, it certainly is not a 9/10 game if you look at the single player, its about where Homefront is and should be rated as, wich is a game that got rated because of the single player and the MP wich got alot of praise mainly got ignored but oh well...

Play the multiplayer, thats where it's at

its not a bad game but it fails in the shooting for me, its like any other id game but its lacking the challenge, everything is all to easy sure the enemies are cool and the wallclimbing mutants etc are evasive and such but once you get used to it a shotgun to the face still takes em out. There is just a lack of harder enemies, the hardest for me would be the gearhead guys near the end of the game and even they go down with 1-2shots from a fat mamma round.

Lack of epic bossfights; there is like 3 or 4? bossfights in the game and they are all very crude and easy except for the dead city boss, nothing like the doom or quake bosses wich id has been known for making. Game isnt short in shooter standards but it is short compared to "zelda" wich alot of people are comparing it to.

It's very much like borderlands to me with the setting and art being almost identical and even the car driving, allthough its alot better in Rage then in Borderlands, the difference is in the actual gameplay.
