Twilight Princess holds a special place in my heart as the best and most beautiful game i've played to this day. It might not be the "best" game i've played, but the experience of playing this is unexplainable.
Perfect, just perfect. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a fantastic game that somehow managed to be better than its predecessor. Everything about it is just fun and if there's a game that can objectively be called the best ever, it's Galaxy 2.
While the original is a great game, Blue Storm is absolutely perfect. It plays like a dream, looks amazing and it's tons of fun, very challenging too. It's too bad that I could never find someone who was good at this game to play multiplayer with.
Resident Evil 4 could very well be my most played single player game ever. I've finished it several times in various platforms and the experience remains superb. Top-notch gameplay, great visuals and excellent atmosphere make it what it is: a masterpiece. The Wii Edition is my favorite.
Corruption is an amazing combination of action, adventure and exploration. It remains my favorite Metroid game, it's a game that does just about everything right and it's always a blast to play.
Wind Waker might not be the best Zelda game but it's worthy of the series name. Though the sailing can get tedious, the gameplay still holds up and the graphics are just brilliant.
Every time I play this game I have a nostalgia trip. It's so incredibly well done and it has aged so amazingly well that it's hard not like, even today.
Echoes stands shoulder to shoulder with Corruption as the best in the series. It's darker and heavier on atmosphere than any of the other Metroid games and also features the best boss battles in the series. The backtracking can get pretty tedious though.
Though at its core it's the same as Melee, the additions to the gameplay, bigger roster, unique stages and incredible amount of content make it a more complete package and an overall better game.
It's such a shame that this game is so underapreciated. Sure it looks like an early gamecube title, but the story is among the best in gaming and the gameplay is addictive like no other game.
Though it was 1-upped in nearly every way by its successor, The original Galaxy remains one of the best games of all time.
Okami borrows heavily from the Zelda series, but somehow it still manages to feel unique. And a lot of that is thanks to its amazing style, charming characters and involving story. Few games can be called "art", this is one that most definitely can.
1000 hours can't lie.
Ocarina of Time holds up amazingly well, and though it's not a perfect game, it's still fantastic.
Though I played it after playing Echoes and Corruption, which dimished the impact it could've had on me, it still is an amazing game on its own right and gave me countless of sleepless nights exploring my way to the end. The boss fights are somewhat disappointing and the music is not as memorable as the other games', but the rest of the game? Sublime.
Screw the haters >_>
