Would love to give this to Vanille, but I've not actually played FFXIII. Instead I've heard and seen her by proxy and damn, she's right up there. Mr Potato Head from Hasbro Family Game Night was a highly placed contestant but he's so bad I don't think he deserves any more attention. It's got to be:

Oddjob - Goldeneye - N64

I know he's not an NPC but he's probably induced more rage in me than any other video game character ever. He is about two-feet shorter than everyone else in the game, meaning that fire would fly harmlessly over his head while the smug bastard that picked him shot my knees off. In the time before proper FPS controls on consoles, picking Oddjob was basically cheating. This t-shirt exists for a reason:

Maybe not the worst but Vanille from FF 13 made me not want to play FF 13 anymore

I always thought Sarah was the most annoying from Star Ocean: The Last Hope,Her voice cut through me all the time.

What an awful game.

I just finished beating Resident Evil 4, and Ashley's voice was really annoying.

She was missing for most of the game, though, so it wasn't that bad. Other than her I honestly can't name many characters that I have absolutely hated with a passion. I guess I don't play enough Japanese games.

The announcer from any of the Fuzion Frenzy games. Especially Fuzion Frenzy II.

My vote is for Leliana from Dragon Age: Origins, mostly because of voice acting and dialog options.

I'm sure there are more annoying characters in games that I haven't played or simply don't care about very much.

Navi from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time... Just shut up with your "Hey!" "Listen!" crap! I know how to play the game!

I've always wanted to find a youtube video of a compilation of all the times that girl said "kay". I really want to play that game again but then I think of the horrible voices.
