@slag: That is some sound advice, I will actually have to try some of that out.
That is a quality list of ones you finished last year. There are a few of those I would like to go through this year. I just got Deathloop for Christmas and I haven't even gotten Trials of Mana yet despite Secret of Mana being one of my all time favorite games.
I have always enjoyed reading your blogs. I am not one who posts a whole lot or even blogs, but as someone who has had Giant Bomb as their home page for so many years now I am always here and poking around.
I totally know how you feel about stepping away. As someone who has spent many, many hours working on the wiki on this site I am ALWAYS frustrated by the lack of support or seemingly care that goes in to it. I get that it doesn't make them money, but I have always loved it.
I will look forward to still seeing you pop in occasionally and hope for nothing but happiness for you.
I did play this one quite a bit on N64, but I played WAY more N64 Rush 2. We would use the cheat for no time limit and just spend hours trying to get all the keys and Mountain Dew cans.
I would be all for either DLC or another remake for Tony Hawk 3. There is plenty of great stuff in that one, and I would love to play it again. Although I do think after that game they strayed farther and farther from what I loved about the series.
That is quite the list of heavy hitters you played so far in 2021. I love the Dishonored games so much, but I always play them with no deaths/alerts and almost play it like a puzzle game.
Sucks to hear about your friend. That is always so hard, especially when cancer is involved.
This is certainly up there in the conversation of my favorite all time games. Is it the best game of them? nope, but this game has so much nostalgia packed in to it AND it is a solid, fun game that I play through it at least once a year.
