Corner Canyon High decided not to make its mascot the cougars, deeming the term offensive to women.

Maybe it's not very funny to anyone else, but I find it hilarious, because this new school is literally two blocks from my home. My sister would have been a cougar... what a terrible thought.

My middle school mascot was the cougar. Though that was long before it became the current slang. I wonder what they think about it now.

Obviously the politically correct way to go about this that would still result in all of the meanings preserved would to make Courtney Cox the mascot.
