I was being a contrarian asshole in my head all through this segment:

-Mummy Demastered isn't very good (its spiritual predecessor, Aliens: Infestation, was much better)

-Sonic has always been bad, and is still bad

-PUBG is still Steam trash

-DAN IS RIGHT ABOUT RE7

-and how the hell was was Mario + Rabbids not even discussed for this category?

I was seriously just thinking a few weeks ago that "Best World" would make a good new category. Turns out I was wrong! Although I would have defined "Best World" as a single contiguous space that you enjoyed exploring, whether that's an open world that encompasses all or most of the game (Hyrule, Egypt, whatever you call HZD's world) or a single level/area within a larger game (Wolf 2's U-Boat, the Western Ghats, or New Donk City).

Peter Jason (the actor who looks like Meatloaf) was the voice of Dizzy in Gears of War 2 & 3.

I listened to this and the new Magic Tavern back-to-back and they both had the phrase "hot goss" and I'm 100% sure I'm being elaborately gaslighted

It's been such a joy to rewatch this series with these commentaries. I really hope that Film & 40s for They Live and Sneakers happen because those are two of my all-time favorites.
