A little distressing to hear the HTML player is causing problems for some people. Can anyone chime in who is able to use it here? Is this also happening on many other videos?
Seeing someone say last week's HotSpot (which I also handled) had the same problem makes me wonder if it's something about the way I'm packaging my videos in particular, although you'd think all the videos coming out of our encoding/publishing pipeline would be consistent with each other.

Of course it's expensive in a vacuum, the point is that Nvidia's pricing has been trending upwards for a while because they don't have any real competition. Before the announcement I assumed the 3080 would be pushing a thousand dollars.
Yeah, swipe right on the touch pad. I'll give them props for actually putting shortcuts on all the touchpad directional swipes like Witcher 3 did (the others are the objective wind, weather flute, and I forget the fourth one). Don't know why every PS4 game doesn't use those, it's four free inputs!
I'm honestly really into this game despite it being pretty shallow and dated. It's just pleasant right now to tool around in a lush countryside finding things to do that don't require a ton of thought.
@kaungo: Unfortunately, yeah -- if anyone has any ideas about how to fix her problem connecting I'd appreciate it, although judging by the giant Reddit thread full of people with the same problem and no clear solutions I'm not too optimistic.
@thepersontwo: It's roughly 80% wanting to be able to interact with chat in a close-to-real-time fashion, 20% my stubborn pride about bringing the number down (and already having had it lower a few weeks ago).
I don't think they'll ever let you pin a recipe. There is very intentionally no HUD in Astroneer. I think it would be against their design philosophy for this game.
Even if it was the first page on the backpack when you hit tab, it'd be useful. Remembering where specific recipes are in that giant list is rough, especially when they reorder them between updates.
