I'd like to know how your guys instruments are holding up.. I'm wanting to buy a 360 bundle soon. I really want to try the new drums.. I've heard a few horror stories..
I think it's a great game so far.. I'm using my Rock Band 2 kit with it. There are some minor annoyances in it.. but I had the same annoyance in RB2 which is finding songs in career mode.. I don't like how they have shit setup in "GIGS" I like seeing a big list with tiers. But I guess I will get use to it.. it's not that different.
"Ok, after reading this thread, I went to both the GH and RB forums to read up on complaints about the game...there has been missing cymbal bolts from drums, missing drum frames, drums not picking up hits, faulty tilt sensors, broken strum bars, MISSING KICK PEDAL IN BUNDLE?!? (WTF???), and the game has even gone to the lengths of not picking up a drum controller as a drum controller, but instead thinking it's a normal controller.
I bet they have some fucking assholes working in their packaging and manufacturing department that have something against rhythm games.. I.E. the same guys that post abut how people should play real instruments! Those dirty bastards. Or they could just have dirt bags working there
I hope not.. I hope they go the route of Rock Band with this game and just release ass loads of DLC.. if not I'm dumping the GH franchise and never taking them back! I'll send them a break up letter. I've always liked the GH notes better than the RB ones but after RB2 release I'm getting very accustomed to RB and happy with it! So it wouldnt' take much to piss me off and leave GH.
There seems to be less hype over World Tour than Aerosmith.. and the game is only 5 days 13 hours away right now. I'm excited as hell for this game. I'd like to see more news about it.. I thought there would be more people talking about it. It's too quiet.
I wonder if you'll get less points in guitar hero drums if you use rock band drums do the fact that you are losing a note that you would normally play?? hrmm..
