The Mega Drive is alive in Brazil! SEGA isn't dead... :(

I just signed up, and I was appalled -APPALLED- to find I had to prefer a platform, but was relieved of the option to choose SEGA(!)  as if they have ceased to be #1 just because they don't have a console in today's market? I'd take nothing from SEGA(!) over anything from anyone else any day. 

Thought the demo was pretty good. The controls were spot on and the visuals, while slightly jaggy, were good too. The sense of presence was pretty well realized and the building of momentum felt natural and it was all very immersive. The story is probably shit, and the cut-scenes are most definitely horrendous, but I'm all about the running and hopefully the time trials stuff will be enough for for me to play it for a couple of months.

Regardless of how good this game is, it's really a stepping stone for a franchise. And even by the next one it will probably be improved ten-fold, to the point where this release is rendered unplayable. Such is the business of genre creating games :p
