Three lock-ups so far, but I'm sure Naughtydog were unprepared for the fact that every Playstation owner outside of Japan would have access to the beta.
I chose that title hesitantly but obviously, Mr J. was the big draw.
I would have preferred the title "Best Bombcast Ever", and with good reason. The guests represented some sort of perfect storm of game development in it's various forms.
The Cowboy was there as one of the hugely important cogs in the expertly oiled machine that is Naughty Dog, the Double Fine guys represented the section of the industry that cannot believe how lucky they are to have landed their dream job and then there was Jaffe, who has probably had to knife a few people to get his games made.
Jaffe was great here, offering insights into the devolopement process, challenging Jeff about the review process (unsurprisingly, Mr Gerstmann had plenty of answers), his obvious bristling at how Double Fine make games and his (undeclared) fervent wish that he had somebody with the the level of expertise of the Cowboy working for him.
That said, for me, "The Cowboy" was the most interesting guy in the room.
Rich Gallup was also in the room. I do not make tha assertion lightly
