On a Bombcast episode a few weeks ago, Jeff said something about being able to delete games from your game history that you had already achieved achievements for. How do you do this?
"it's about time" or something along those lines. I've always found it funny how people complained about getting the rrod and how I hadn't gotten it once in 2+ years. At first I really didn't care, but it didn't take long for me to miss it :(. Though I should be getting it back soon.
Ok I am getting really hopeful that it is just a problem with the cable, because when the cable is not in, I get 4 red lights, meaning the cable is not plugged in, but as soon as I plug it in I get 1. So I really hope this does mean that it is just a problem with the cable. I can't believe this happens on the day that Braid comes out.... :(
I've tried everything. I've unplugged every cable, the harddrive, tried cleaning them, putting them in a different tv, everything. Anything on Yahoo Answers says to send it in.
The thing is, I got 3 red lights only a few minutes before I got 1 red ring.
"Personally, I'm split between two for the worst move: Making Live Gold a paid membership, and shipping the console with hardware issues (RROD)
For the best move, although this may be controversial to some of you, I would say it's the New Xbox Experience. I think the Avatars actually look pretty cool, and the new dashboard redesign is slick.
What do you guys think Microsoft's worst and best moves has been this generation?
" Heeeeey guess what. There likely wouldn't be a New Xbox Experience if they didn't charge for gold.
"So since its not covered by warranty, what would happen if I tell them I am getting 3 red lights. Has anyone ever tried this? I really did get 3 red lights right before 1 red light."
send it in.
theyll give you a paper you have to check and site your problem. check, "3 lights", "disk drive", "freezing" and "others" and theyll just give you a new system without even bothering to fix yours"
Do you think they will check? Like what if I check 3 lights and they try it and get 1 light?
Also, I'm hoping it is just a problem with the rca cable, because the error code I got which was E74, and a website said it was either a cable issue or a gpu issue. I've ordered another cable I hope I don't have to send it in at all.
