@frostyryan: Why does that dishearten you? I wouldn't have even known about Persona 4 if not for the Endurance Run, and now I consider it one of my favorite games of all time. And It made me look back to Persona 3, which I also love.

I could understand if you said that you would be bummed if people watch an entire play-through and then never buy the game, because I do think that can be a huge bummer.

Yes I lost 40 pounds in the space of about 4 months by just dieting. The trouble is keeping it off. I've gained some of it back, but it's a push-pull thing, you know? I'm already losing it again.

Exercise is good though. You should exercise, not because it'll help you lose weight, but for all the other reasons it's good for you.

@mike: Ditto. I don't mind though. It was well written and thoughtful.

I especially appreciated that @rainvillain made their argument without being combative. Even-handed arguments are depressingly hard to find these days.

I played it for the first time this year, and I agree. Super weird.

Which was not what I was expecting based on all of the other stuff that came out with the FFVII name on it. That movie they made was deadly serious, and all the spin-off games looked dark and brooding. I was absolutely caught off guard by the silly mess that is Final Fantasy VII.

Don't worry about it, pal. People make mistakes. The important thing is that you learn from them, and it sounds like you are.

Don't get frustrated, and take it again. You'll be fine. I'm sure you're doing your best.

That book cover they have on that page is ugly as sin. I'll almost certainly still read these books though.

Moonlight - 5/5

Just absolutely heartbreaking. Several people walked out of the theater crying.

If you don't know, it's about the life of a black guy growing up in Miami dealing with the realities of being gay. Check out the trailer, it's a good representation of what the movie is like without spoiling anything.

I don't like playing Fallout, but I love watching Many A True Nerd play it on YT. He comes up with fun ways to challenge himself, and he edits out all of the time spent walking around in the empty brown landscapes that I find so dull.

And I actually love playing Dark Souls, but rarely have the time to invest in a game that large, so I've really enjoyed watching Epic Name Bro and the GB guys play through those games.

Hey, definitely let that poor mouse go. It will make a bad pet, because it is not used to being around non-hostile humans, and will be panicked for the rest of its very short life. Also, you have no idea what disease it might be carrying.

Instead, why not get a rat or a teddy bear hamster from a pet store, or better yet, a rodent sanctuary? Both make great pets, and can become quite affectionate if handled regularly and with care. They are also very very inexpensive. I had a hamster that I absolutely adored in college, and she grew to be very fond of being held after a few weeks.

If you go that route, please get an open metal cage instead of using an aquarium, like the one you have the mouse in. It can be difficult for rodents to breath in glass aquariums.
