  • @Watari: Let's just say my Blue Eyes White dragon will burn everything you hold dear to the ground while my Jinzo probes your brain, exposing your darkest fears for me to exploit. Then, when you think you can salvage the battle, my trap card is unleashed, dealing 500 damage to your life points directly, incinerating your body and cementing my place as lord of the universe.

  • @Watari said: " @eroticfishcake:  Neither am I to be honest, I'm no necromancer lol ""Brooding in the tower Watching o'er his land Holding ev'ry creature Helplessly they stand" That song is so badass. Happened to be listening to it at the time. Oh, and welcome to Giant Bomb. Challenge me and I will destroy you.

Suck it up, Giant Bomb. I thought the podcast was great. I rarely like it when there are guests since topics go way off into left field but I quite liked Jared. He seemed sincere in his love of video games and while I may not agree with all he said, it was one of the better Bombcasts with guests. Certainly better than the one with Boyes and Vignocchi. And ...

  • As a child I played my NES. Pretty much anything, really. I don't quite remember what I played, but I remember playing a LOT of TMNT and some football game. My next system would be a Sega Saturn. Hours were spent playing Virtua Fighter and many tears were shed when I finally defeated the final guy. I played Wolf and loved to throw people around. Good times. The PC was ...

I use Vista and have a wireless connection. Thrilling. But what wasn't so thrilling was the lag I was getting when I would play any game online. Every 20-60 seconds, I would get like a 1-3 second hitch, causing my connection to basically stop working. In TF2, for example, my dude would stop running and that red text would come up in the top right saying there was something wrong with my internets. I just thought that it had something to do my hardware(router, adapter etc) BUT what is really wrong is something with Vista itself! Apparently Vista(and apparently XP too but I wouldn't know) automatically searches for available wireless access points every minute or so. This causes the current connection to freeze, thereby causing many holes in my wall. One day I was just so tired of it and dove into the internet to see what I could find. I found this lovely program called "Vista Anti-Lag". Apart from being aptly named, it does the job oh so well. Just install this gem and press the little "activate VAL" button. You can then game in blissful serenity. I hope I can save at least one person's trouble(and wall) with this post!

Solid. (PS3)
I picked this game up thinking nothing extraordinary would come out of it. I was in the mood for some alien killing so I turned it on. Pretty decent graphics for a launch title. I powered my way through the campaign with no real resistance (no pun intended) and found ...

Worthy of a Rental. (PS3)
Really simple and easy game that could of been a lot more. The main story involves you killing people in the exact same fashion. Go to a town, get up high to locate landmarks, report to the Assassin's Bureau, get information on where and when you can strike your target, ...

Frustrating (PC)
I first heard about Age of Conan from one of the blog sites I visit. I was interested by the combat system and the idea of having DX10 graphics in an MMO. Already looking for a WoW killer, I was hooked. I told all my friends about it and begged ...

Meh. (PC)
This game had the potential of being a real winner. I was there from the beginning slaying the likes of Ragnaros and Onyxia with my friends and guildmates, working together as a team to accomplish a common goal. Sure that kind of camaraderie still exists in the game today but ...
