Can you load me up with an @rorie reply in this thread if you have a second? Be sure to use either the Quote or Reply function to ensure that I'm theoretically getting a notification for each reply. Thanks!
I think the argument "Sounds like a complete waste of time to me" could be applied to anything from climbing mountains, running marathons, swimmming across the English Channel to bungee jumping or racing on a circuit.
Sooo... people do it because they can, and want to? Also, why do you assume it isn't (at least when they are successful) fun for them?
Crap, I (or steamgifts, to be more precise) somehow managed to create two giveaways of Botanicula with just one click... oh what the hell, it's not that expensive. I just hope some third giveaway I was not aware of is not going to appear, I really want to play that third copy myself :-)
So here are bothlinks this time. Seems like most people found them sooner than me, but just to be sure.
Speaking of unexpected giveaways, I got steam key for DLC Quest from some older bundle. I don't consider it too much of a game, more like short joke, really, and I don't want to create giveaway or add it to my library either... so I would gladly give it to some Upstanding Duder, if he or she wants it.
@viking_funeral: I think steamgifts don't allow making those anymore, but who could object if you offered them here... but if there is anyone who doesn't already have one or fifty, that's another question :-)
Ok, time to get rid of some spare keys (oh my god I hope they work, I'm always nervous when giving keys and not giftable copies...)
Also - there are only so many ways to say "Thank you duder(ette) very much, you're awesome", so instead of commenting on every single giveaway I've entered, I thank you here - Thank you duders and duderettes, you're very awesome.
