I mean, they're certainly on the upper end of Gawker websites, but for every 1 kinda interesting feminist/women's interests article they post, they then post like 200 clickbaity generic articles/listicles on fashion, women's TV shows/reality shows, celeb gossip, maybe just reiterating the regular news that is already being reported on over at Gawker, etc. Which isn't an atrocity, but the ratio is about the same as the other Gawker blogs, in that the vast majority of Jezebel is dime-a-dozen throwaway articles that any other news blog could also have run, and only like <5% of their output is something that is a genuinely insightful op-ed or original investigative reporting.
Ill have to respectively disagree, the throwaway articles as you put it are less egregious to me then the nonsense they often spout and complete disregard for honesty or accurately quoting and/or displaying some viewpoints. Amongst the worst I've seen in online media and that's saying something.
