I liked everything up to the last disc. I hadn't played a Jrpg in such a long time I was actually really enjoying the change of pace and dug the focus on the linear story, the open world stuff at the end was actually what i hated (and i love open worlds and player choice in my games) because i felt like the game lost all urgency, suddenly the end of the world didn't really matter because I could just fly around and do anything. I guess it just shows that having an open world is only fun when you actual polish that aspect of the game.

Try to put it out on as many systems as possible, the game is not about graphics and they should keep the game looking interesting with the art.

Do away with the grind, Lost odyssey did something like this where during the linear parts of the story (basically not the last disc) no matter how much you kept fighting in a dungeon you would not level up, this meant the boss battles had to be won by using strategy are not over leveling which made them really interesting and quite tough but at the same time it cut down on grinding. I think they should take that idea further, your whole party should get exp from battles and the only way in which some characters get better than others is if you have a higher S.Link. I think you should be able to switch party members mid-fight, like the FF 10 system or Lost odyssey system. The way I figure it is if they allow the player to have their whole team at equal skill without making them under-leveled then people will more likely to use the whole team and then the S.Link stuff would become more important as it is the only way to really specialize and strengthen individual members.

@oldschool: I never said not worth playing, I said don't get one unless you actually want something on dsiware. He's said all he wants is scribblenauts so maybe he isn't interested in any small downloadable games. I know I'm planning on getting a lite as they are cheaper and all I really want is tetris, phoenix wright, castlevania and maybe a copy of metroid fusion.

I'd say no, there is no singleplayer mode besides skirmish and the multiplayer crowd is pretty ruthless. I would go with Dawn of War 2, the singleplayer is excellent, approachable and I think worth the purchase alone. The singleplayer is also very different to most rts, playing almost like a tactics/diablo style game. The multiplayer is more traditional rts gameplay but everyone only has one building which they upgrade and all the resources are gained through fighting over land, bascially the multiplayer is focused on the combat over stuff like resource managment.

Sins of a solar empire is also excellent and slower placed compared to a lot of RTS games.

If you don't want it or think it is overpriced than don't pay for it, that is how it works you know.

I wish the end boss was just a better specialist fight, I liked him better as a ruthless human than as PARIAH. Also I think they should have made the Greene fight you without transforming, maybe even make the last battle a 3-way fight between her, the specialist and you. I did really enjoy the game but my biggest gripe is that I thought Greene and the specialist had the makings of really interesting and cool villains but they weren't highlighted enough in the game, there should have been at least a few missions were the specialist hunted you down personally.
