I hope that it turns out much, much better than that screenshot indicates. I'll give it a chance, but I'm not super excited (even as someone who friggin' loves the genre).
I actually just listened to the Bombcast from like 2008 where Vinny mentions Karateka. He calls it Kara-teeka and then everyone (read: Ryan) freaks out about it and says it's pronounced Kerotica.
Haha, do you remember which one that is? Because now I really want to go listen to how completely wrong they both are. :P
I believe it's the one from 7/21/09:
"We recover from Friday night's funcaholism in tonight's episode of Everybody Loves Bombcast with Wii Sports Resort, Evo 2009, the correct pronunciation of Karateka, toast guns, Shadow Complex, night vision goggles, Rock Band Network, and more!"
Also, looking through the archives made me really want to listen to the old episodes from the Tokyo Game Show again.
great idea, make more games in the 30% shooter section of the industry, because we all could use a few more shooters
haha Yeah, I had the exact same reaction. I guess the business people that make these decisions know what they're doing, but my (admittedly uninformed) strategy would be the complete opposite.
Ok, I'm on board for another one. I just finished Revelations a month ago, though, so I'll have to pick up the new one later when it drops in price. I need a bit of a breather.
I'd be happy with an all-Desmond game. He explicitly says that he knows what he needs to do now, at the end of Revelations.
