Bargain bin finds strike again!

I managed to snag quit a good pack of games recently. Alice: Madness Returns packed with code for original American McGee's Alice (xbox360), Marvel VS. Capcom 3 Fate of theTwo Worlds (xbox360), Bulletstorm (xbox360), Test Drive Unlimited 2 (PS3)   and  Dead Space 2 Limited Edition (with Dead Space Extraction) (PS3) – whole set under 40 Euros.

Bulletstorm was fun but the ending was crap. Games, end your f*king stories, sequel baiting and cliff hangers are becoming really tiring. Especially when Bulletstorm sets it self as being a videogame version of a revenge film, you really need some sort of brutal closure, not this “Well, he crew up as a person” sh*t.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 Seems OK. I have not played it that much, but I am ready to invest more time to it. Handling of the cars seem little weird when using a wheel (Logitech Driving Force GT) but real creeps come form the NPC characters. All of the guys seem to have the same strange face. Maybe the gene pool of Ibiza is not that deep…

I have not yet touched Alice: Madness Returns game but I have played some of the first one. Let’s just say that it has not aged well.

Marvel VS Capcom 3 FoTW is entertaining for few minute spurts. I bet I would enjoy it more if I could pull of those f-d-df movements as well as in SF4. Amazingly little effort seems to have been but into the story mode.

Dead Space 2 felt really engaging for the first 5 chapters but now at chapter 7, I am starting to fear that all I will do is creep along dark corridors, waiting for the monsters to attack.  I quickly tested Extraction, but decided to leave it to wait the time when I borrow friends Move system.

Alice was fun if not a wee bit redundant towards the later portions. I was close to getting Test Drive over the holidays but held off and don't know if I'll ever get back to it or not. Marvel is always entertaining. I just recently got UMvC3 and my SF4 skills don't immediately transfer either without putting some work in, but that is part of the fun. As for Dead Space I'm love/hate with it. I played the first and haven't touched the second yet (though I intend to eventually) and was left feeling like it only got about halfway to where I'd like it to be. Either way though you got some decent stuff outta there that should keep you fairly busy for a while... unless your like me and you have a bad habit of jumping between tons of games at once and never finishing a handful of them.

Alice seemed to take FOREVER to finish. Good lord it got annoying. Shame because I actually liked most of it.
