Ah the good old days of my N64. Inspite of games like Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time the cartridge that found its way into my N64 the most was Star Fox. I realize (and told of) the greatness of the original but I still think the N64 version is the best of the franchise. Inspite of its linear missions (with a few deviations) I loved that game, always trying to get another high score. Never got a Gamecube, but maybe it was for the best, hearing sum terrible things and seeing such crap with the Gamecube additions to the franchise. It looks like the franchise has been ruined by the Gamecube crap. I think its time to bring it back, maybe even a reboot like the MechWarrior one. Put Fox back in the damn plane and get rid of that Adventure roaming around crap. The flying made this franchise what it was. Maybe with the Wii Motion Plus you could use the Wiimote as plane and shoot using the B button or use the analog as the controls. Whatever, as long as Nintendo brings back Star Fox to its glory. 

HEAR ME NINTENDO? BRING BACK STAR FOX!

Starfox Assault for the GC was not actually bad, albeit short and under constant attack. The Last Stage felt like a nice payoff anyway

The guy who was one of the top dogs on Starfox 64 said that he wasn't going to help make on on the Wii. And that we probably won't see one on the Wii.
