Damn am I sad! It was basically impossible for me to get any work done today. It is always sad when one of the GB staff leaves. It feels like a good friend is moving away. The genuine enthusiasm for the work he does and games overall was so cool to see, and no one will be able to duplicate that.

Even though his new job is supposed to be more behind the scenes, I doubt a personality like Dan will stay in the background for long. We'll see more of him in due time.

While it seems on the nose, good luck in your future endeavors, Dan. The Giant Bomb community will miss you!

The 2017 MCU movies (Guardians, SpiderMan, Thor), to me gave me the impression that they deliberately went with the lighthearted, low-stakes, funny tone, because we will get hardly any of that for Infinity War. Plus with Marvel finally wrapping up the whole Avengers storyline, it's exciting to finally see there be stakes involved. Knowing that just about every character is expendable now just amps the excitement.

Pretty hyped for Destiny 2, I played a lot of Destiny 1 by myself, and while I enjoyed it, playing alone meant I didn't get to participate in the raid portion of the game all that much. Hope to do a lot more of that stuff this time around, sent a request to the Xbox clan.

Just arrived in town. Staying at the Crockett. Tired from the drive up here, but excited for tomorrow.

Well the convention is right next to the river walk which is littered with bars and places to eat. Most of the dedicated restaurants close around 10pm to 11pm, and the bars close around 2am. Big Lou's is kind of far out of the way, plus it is always crowded especially weekends.

I guess the thing to figure out is what place can accommodate, however many of us will be there and will not be overrun with other people from the convention.

Name is Nick, my wife and I are going to be there all three days. It's my first PAX, so I'm pretty excited to see what it's like. I would be up for doing a meet up.

On a sidenote: Anything happening with the Royal Rumble or are there issues with watching it in a group setting?

I got my tickets already for Friday and Saturday. I've always wanted to go to PAX but getting a flight out to Seattle or Boston was a little much for me. Props to the people who can afford flying from overseas to those things. San Antonio is only about a 3 hour drive from my hometown, so that is more feasible. It would be awesome if GB showed up for it, but I wouldn't hold it against them if they didn't. Here's to hoping for an awesome time.

Sure I am concerned about possible dilution of the PAX convention, but if people show up it should be fine.

I own both and right now the xbox is my xbox fitness / workout dvd machine and the ps4 is my WWE network machine. Most of my gaming now has been done on my PC. I'm hoping that Titanfall and Infamous will get me using those things for playing games. Anyone who has asked me about getting either console has been met with this answer. "Wait at least until the end of this year. Wait for more games to come out." Though considering how things have been playing out lately I would guess that in about a year or two, I will own more games on my PS4 than my Xbox One.
