I have evolved.
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. My sister-in-law "wife's sister" had a HDTV she had in storage. She gave it to me because she moved back in with her mother and had no need for it. It's a 2007 50" Panasonic Plasma HDTV, in 1080p. That was pretty cool of her, she knew my wife and I couldn't afford one.
As for consoles, I have a Wii and an Xbox 360. I tried Far Cry 2 in HD on the 360 and oh my, what a fucking difference. The tv has some good blacks and the game shines. Now I wish I would not had traded in all those Xbox 360 games I've bought over the years, ha, just kidding.
The Wii looks better in 480p, but jaggies are everywhere. Being the selfish gamer that I am, it's time to go HD Nintendo!
That's it. I've gone HD. I tried not to think about it when I was running with 480i, but holy cow, yeah, major upgrade. Claude is a happy little boy, I mean, old man.
