I’ll admit I haven’t been a very positive voice in a lot of new GB content…

Whether or not it ends up being a continuing thing for me, this is a super fun thing that’s ludicrous in the spirit Giant Bomb has always tried to carry. This would have made perfect sense in the Ryan era. This is the best addition to the site since Jess.
Nothing says “the corporation has taken over” more than saying ‘transparency’ in the first sentence, and then being vague and evasive for the rest of it. This whole thing is a bad look, and exactly what the critics of this new GB have been expecting.
They shattered my faith in this transition with incomparable efficiency.
"Old Sonic games are bad actually" has become the ultimate gaming "OK, Boomer" take. I get that they got reassessed as bad by old gamers in the aughts, but y'all threw out the baby with the bathwater because you didn't like the current ones, and never recognized the mistake.It says everything you need that the bombers who disagree are the youngest members.
I've listened since Arrow Pointing Down and I'm on the spectrum. I really don't like that I avoid listening anymore because I forget how bad it fucks me up, go away long enough to forget again, and then the cycle continues.
I'm so glad this is going to be happening more. Love this whole thing so much!
The opening game would be great with some Double Dare music over, and the announcer going, "These two teams are competing to go FIRST in a game for FABULOUS PRIZES!" etc etc. But honestly this whole production seems like a beast to put on.
This is the first thing since the change in direction that I’ve enjoyed. Thank you so much, Voidburger. Giant Bomb felt like my home for over a decade. It breaks my heart that it doesn’t anymore, but this made it clear I’ll still be able to come back and visit sometimes. Thanks again.
