I didn't get frustrated at all. The game was really easy for me and I enjoyed it a lot. I don't think any boss took more than four attempts and I ended up beating most on my first try.
I like video games because they can be whatever they want to be. Even with your examples it's not sexist to have an attractive female character in a skimpy outfit. It's just sexy (or seen as juvenile). Also I dunno if you know this but video game women aren't real.
The Souls games aren't that hard and Bloodborne is looking to be pretty easy judging by the stream I was watching that has gone through most of the game including the hardest chalice dungeons.
I use µBlock which is like Adblock but does a few things differently. I don't like wasting my time with advertisements. Pop-ups, banners, and other kinds of ads are outdated. Time for marketers to innovate if they want me to see their ads.
Your characters are never deleted. You're thinking of the thing where all of the names of the characters that hadn't logged in since some time in 2008 were going to become available.
If you buy the game titled World of Warcraft from Battle.net you get all games from vanilla through Mists of Pandaria for $20. This allows you to level up to 90 and experience all of the content up to that point. If you're still interested by that point you can buy Warlords of Draenor (brand new expansion) for $50 which unlocks Draenor and the level cap of 100.
Do people truly believe that GG supporters are nothing but trolls trying to ruin people's lives? Is this parody? There are assholes harassing people under the guise of GG, sure. That doesn't mean the idea has no validity. GG supporters are currently trying to be taken as seriously as possible to talk about the issues they feel plague the games industry, but every time things calm down another asshole pops up and that's all you see in articles for a week. It feels like instead of talking to the majority of GG supporters that want to have a real discussion, games persons just label them all as terrible human beings that just want to ruin your day and make you miserable. This isn't the case.
There's a fairly new section on a chan dedicated to talking about GG issues. Every now-and-then you have jackasses posting people's personal information. This kind of thing gets reported by everyone else immediately and gets deleted. No one that truly supports GG wants to doxx people. That doesn't help the victim and that doesn't help GG's (already shaky) image. It's easy to hate on something because everything tells you that you should hate it, but GG isn't your enemy and denouncing it seems very strange and uninformed. Gamergate dudes want an honest conversation (or many). Next time you see someone mention Gamergate, don't immediately roll your eyes or call them a misogynist. Try to engage them in a real discussion and you will be surprised at what they will have to say.
I love Giant Bomb because they don't get into this drama much if at all, so I really hope they stay neutral and stick to doing video games stuff like the videogamesmen they are.
