@theonewhoplays: Hmm well I do currently have RE7 from PS Plus a while back. Haven't played it yet, but maybe I'll give it a go based on your recommendation.
This is sad. This site is great, and these gents are a huge part of it. I am bummed to see them go, but I have to imagine they are moving on to something really great for them as people. Good luck to all three.
As for favorite moments, Holiday Games were always hilarious. Vinny getting all flustered and saying he is "bad at video games". Alex being clearly angry but keeping his cool. Brad being excellent but yet also somehow losing to Dan.
@sombre: Yeah in RE2 Remake, it is pretty mild. I still loved it even though Tyrant was not fun. Its the reason I haven't touched the RE3 Remake and also why RE7 and RE8 don't sound great either. I'm 100% with you OP
Witcher 3 is easily one of THE BUGGIEST games I've ever played. It is the one example of a game that I can recall several completely broken quest lines that I was never able to complete. So yeah none of this surprises me all that much. Remember how broken that game was when it came out? They literally had to revamp the entire character locomotion system.
@wmoyer83: My main gripe with this and most other open world games is that mission structure is pretty poor. Ride to a place, talk to a person, ride somewhere else, kill some baddies, ride back, and repeat. Juxtaposed agains the hand-crafted nature of non-open world games, this sort of design (to me) is disappointing.
I think Hades wins because its the critics' darling this year...
But for me it is hands down Ghost of Tsushima. Best game by far in my opinion. To me, everything else has serious flaws (not that GoT is perfect, because it has issues).
