DEVELOPER DIARY: New Activity Feed (twitter is back...)

Just deployed the old (well, the new old) activity feed -- and made a few tweaks to the performance of the templates.

You will notice a slight clash in styles --- as older activity was generated using the old templates and newer activity is now being generated using the newer templates.

Let me know if you guys see any issues - thx.

Awesome!  Thanks for all the hard work :) 

Some Issues: 

  1. Editing Forum Posts no longer updates the Activity Feed. 
  2. Carriage Return characters, made in Forum Posts (and maybe on Walls), do not display properly (they do not do a <br> or <p>) on the Activity Feed.  (this may function different between creating a new Topic or "Commenting"/Replying). 
  3. Bullet Points and Numbers also don't come through.

yeah - but its cleaner and that's the way dave wanted it. go check the all user's activity page (and wait) ;)

I still think it should show little thumbnails, I'm fairly sure it did in the mock-up.
The old one was definitely too big and sort of clunky looking though.
