hey guys -

been a little bit since the last note - so here's a quick rundown of what we've been up to the past few days. (hint: drinking)

so snide and i left melbourne about a week ago and headed all the way to the top of oz to this city called cairns... snorkle dorkled the great barrier reef one day, went white water rafting the next day (great pics) and met some super fun english guys/girls who we've been travelling down the coast w/.

pretty much everyone travelling is either heading up or down the coast and everyone kinda hits the same places so we've been running into/travelling with a really fun crew the last few spots.

so -- we just left this really fun hostel on maggie island and we just landed here @ the whitsunday islands (google it - it looks amazing) --- so we're gonna take a boat out for a few days and cruise around the islands for a bit before we head down to fraser island which is supposed to be fun -- basically, you get a crew, rent a 4x4 and they just give you an itenerary of things to go check out - then you head out and you camp along different spots around the island and eventually get back on day 3.

then we're off to brisbane, byron bay and possibly surfer's paradise before flying to sydney for the new year.

anyway, we're having good times out here and i hope you duders are too --- be back on on a more regular basis in a few short weeks :)

Surfers paradise is supposedly a good time. Dracula's comes reccomended.

Dude Surfers Paradise is awesome. And that means something froma kiwi who doesn't like Austrailia much.

if you make it to surfers within the next week or two you will catch the end of "schoolies" which is basically the australian version of spring break. i came back from it a week ago and its just one huge party
