Honestly, outside of a potential Rising 2 or Rising prequel, I kinda hope that the core series is done. Say what you will about Kojima being irresponsible with money and super inefficient at running a project, but he still loved these games and pored so much of his time and life into them. With the way Konami treats its properties now, I'm worried that it would end up being a massive disappointment compared to the rest.
Seems like the specific rules laid out for the issue were very vague and led to this. I'm sure other teams will appeal this, and depending on the exact wording of the rules, Mercedes could still be found at fault.
The FIA interpretation of the rule seems to be 'As long as the tires are at 19.5 psi at 110C then they are in regs.' The excerpt from the press release said '19.5 psi with a max tire blanket temperature of 110C.' Those are different enough that there will likely be a fight over this. Won't be the last we hear of this whole thing I'm sure.

I'm totally fine with it taking a few weeks or a month to get enough free MB coins to unlock an FOB, as long as there is some way to do it besides paying.
Sure its great that you can get some MB coins without paying, but those rates are kind of disgusting. If you assume that the MB coins offered for this week to be the normal amount given in a week, thats a possible of 80 coins a week. Hell, even if you bump it up to 100 a week, that's 4 MONTHS of logging in on every MB coins day to get one FOB. And that's only if the average coins per week hits 100, if 80 is the weekly norm its more like 6 months.
Sure you can get coins for free but the amounts being given here seem insulting when you factor in how much they are charging for these things.
Watching this Gamespot stream, this performance capture is fantastic. There has to have been a ton of work put into this game. It seems really strange that there has been no marketing for a game that conceivably must have cost a shit ton to make.
