Pretty solid conference. 3DS actually looked...cool. Definitely looking forward to it when it comes out on shelves. No glasses-3D, blowin' my mind. =P

Playing against Zileans are definitely annoying, but he is a caster, and therefore is very squish. LoL is a team game after all. I've had my share of games with good and bad Zileans; it just depends on who's using him. Plus when they use Chrono Shift. Zilean's THERE for like, 3 or 4 seconds before he revives, plenty of time for a surround in a team battle if you need to kill him that badly.  I wouldn't really call the Chrono Shift two lives either, it's like 1000hp at level 3(can be buffed with AP of course, but if he gets let's say 2000, that Zilean's already fed too much).

So, I'm on my off term for university, so you know what that means. GAMES. Giantbomb is a website, about video games, so I thought I should write about it here. Makes sense, right?

Anyways, I've recently stuck my head into a Japanese game, and boy have I spent alot of time on it. This game never saw a release in North America (well, if you exclude arcades here (of which there are VERY FEW of)) for very obvious reasons I suppose, but I've been spending more time with it than I have most other games. I guess I've clocked around 20-25 hours so far, and no signs of slowing. Also, this isn't even a goddamn J-RPG. It's an action game. Guess what it is yet? no?
Gundam SEED Destiny: Rengou VS Zaft II

I don't know what it is, but this game has got me hooked (enough to make me edit the page for it even). Granted, I am a fan of Gundam, I have several models, so I'm obviously biased, but this game, is pretty good, and solid action-fighting game. I'm not gonna get into details (read the page if you want to know more about it!), but I've poured more hours into this game than I have most other ones.
Also made me think, the Japanese like to spend alottttt of time on games, don't they. If it's a RPG, it'll take an eternity. If it's something else, they make the replayability of it very appealing. Final Fantasy takes FOREVER to finish, while North American games take around the usual 7-16 hours. May be just me, but the Japanese sure like to drudge through their games. How many of you go back to replay North American games, and how many hours have you spent on one game?

It depends on how many times Vinny decides to cast bufu on the raincoat killer.

Honestly though, V and B seem to be at the same level when it comes to playing this game thus far. Both are just as entertaining to watch for their goddamn intense moments when they do something stupid =P
Deaths will probably be even between the two.

I would like to HOPE we could make it out into space eventually. I'd say we're pretty screwed if we don't. Living on sustainability, we can't just straight up start capping population on earth so that the rest of us will live.
I don't think there's any reason that we can't progress into the field of space travel. We've made so many other large leaps in science in just the past 100 years. It's just that there are too many problems on Earth right now to deal with; Once we roll out some of the bumps here, advancement out there can't take too long...
