I aaaaaalmost wish Jeff announced he was leaving. Because then there would be a chance that the crew was leaving to start something else.

It would be like when the all left Gamespot.

Boy, as you get older. You sure go through a lot of "eras."

I joined Gamespot in 2002, almost 20 years ago. I followed Jeff & Ryan to the Arrow Pointing Down podcast. Soon after, I joined Giantbomb in 2008.

These guys have been in my life for almost 20 years...and they don't even know me, but I know them...kinda.

I'll miss you around here, Patrick.

It's weird, I never get used to editors leaving sites I frequent.

I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around this.

I've been a member of the sites that Ryan has been employed at for over a decade.

You will me missed, Ryan. Much love to all of the people who knew him personally.

I love that this game is coming out. I'm absolutely ready to be dissapointed, but I would love for this to be awesome. From what I've seen and heard it seems promising...please let it be good.

Let's see...

The Warriors (PS2, Rockstar, 2005)  Man, I still have it. I still have my PS2. I freakin' loved the parts of the game that I've already played, but I still haven't beat it! That the heck is my problem?

Appaently, the studio that developed the game was closed down. So it doesn't look like THQ is going to sink very much resources into this project. I wouldn't hold my breath for patches or any kind of support either. Hey, who knows, I'd love to be wrong on this one and have THQ patch in on-line coop. That would be awesome.

Yeah, unemployment sucks. I suppose if it is self inflicted and you can go back to a good job at any time, then it might be different. However, if you've lost your job and/or can't find a job it's absolutely miserable.

Gaming is so much more fulfilling when you're using it to escape the stresses of the work/school day. I remember back in the day when i was in college the solitaire that came with windows was terrifically fun when I had a paper to write or a test to study for, but as soon as finals were over solitaire was the epitome of boring.

Even if Jack doesn't live a pure and innocent life, he did live a life that was superior to John's.

Think about it...
John was only hunting Bill, Javier, and Dutch for what...a few months? Until the US Marshalls step in Jack had a loving two parent home.  Apparently, Jack also has a ranch that he has inherited. If Jack raises a family, then it may be safe to assume that his children will have a life that is better than Jacks. I don't think that John's efforts were completely wasted.
