1200 Kentucky fried calories... a belated review.

About a week ago, I decided to do the unimaginable... go to KFC and order one of their most terrifying meal compilations in their history... the Guitar Hero: World Tour KFC Fully Loaded Box Meal, or GH:WTKFCFLBM for short. I finally remembered to post this after nearly a week, but I have fond... and not so fond memories of this abomination.
I started with the KFC Snacker and I wasn't that impressed with the results. The special sauce was decent and the biscuity bun was good, but it's nothing special. I moved on to the mashed potatoes with gravy... which might not be entirely made out of potatoes or gravy. The potatoes are pretty much like your standard instant potatoes, but you can't go wrong with the gravy. The other downside was the limited amount of gravy... more would've been nice, KFC. Next, the chicken strips. The strips were pretty good and was the highlight of the meal, but if there was some dipping sauce to go along with the strips, it would've totally made up for the blah Snacker. I chose the thigh over the drumstick for my traditional piece of chicken and it was totally KFC... greasy and fairly tasty. Finally, the potato wedges were also pretty solid, but at this point, the double vision and queasy diarrhea starts to rear its ugly head, plus food doesn't maintain its piping hot temperature for too long, especially after a 15 minute drive home and a few minutes taking photos for whatever creepy reason. And you top that off with a 3 gallon beverage (I think it was Dr. Pepper)
So... on the Giant Bomb scale, I give it 3 stars. I would've recommended replacing the Snacker with a dessert for a true meal and threw in a dipping sauce. It is quite big for the price, but it's still fast food and the quality is lacking... and the nutritional value, too.
Fun fact, the dude ahead of me in the drive-thru ordered two GH:WTF meals, hopefully not for himself.
