Considering boosting my Gamecube library for some reason.

During the last generation, most of my game time was spent on the PC with SimCity 4, The Sims, various tycoon games, and my secret shame, text-based baseball sims.  I totally skipped out on the Gamecube and Xbox while I had access to the PS2, I was pretty apathetic to the machine.  Around the time I got my Wii, I started working on my Gamecube library which is up to a paltry 11 games, mostly 1st party stuff.  Below, a list of Gamecube games I'm in the market for.

  1. Killer7: I once found this game at a Target for cheap, but at the time, money was pretty tight and I let it go.  Now this was before I discovered No More Heroes which I absolutely loved.  Now I regret not getting it when I had the chance.
  2. Ikaruga: I do realize this one has made it to XBLA, but I don't see myself buying a 360 anytime soon so I'm going for the next best thing.  Apparently this shmup is highly praised and I do enjoy a good shmup on occasion.
  3. Super Smash Bros. Melee: Wait, what?  I own Brawl.  Well, this one is really one of those "gotta catch 'em all" situations.  I really just want it for style points, nothing more.
  4. Beyond Good & Evil: Yet another game that didn't sell that well.  I guess I'm partially to blame, but I'm willing to make up for it now.  Although... new PC soon means I may go PC for this one.  Then again, I can totally run BG&E on my current shitty rig.  Meh, need time to think about it.
If anybody has any suggestions, blurt it out... but no more 1st party stuff, no Resident Evil, and no JRPGs, please.

I have a weird feeling that I'll be purchasing more games this year than the past 2 years combined... and I splurged on over 40 Virtual Console and WiiWare games, a dozen Wii games, and Spore over that span... which is an odd choice considering I don't have a PC yet that can run it.  Currently, 20 games are on my wishlist (and one that GB doesn't have wikified yet) and that's not including the unannounced VC games which I'll cave in and buy.  Looks like I'll have to resort to Ramen for a while.
