yeah, using the d-pad for this game is like using a d-pad for Halo or GTA, it just doesn't really work.
You really don't need to know the intimacy of the mechanics tbh. Just find a handful of characters you find fun and play them often. Yes, it is best to know how the normals, specials, smash attacks, dodging, guarding, throwing, dashing works - but that is about it. Learning what each button(s) do and their basic context is enough. Beyond that you're becoming pretty serious with the game and that's a ballpark fit for a Smash-centric place, not a general video game site like GB.
it's so weird to me people care this much. a Diablo iPhone game seems like a no brainer, also making a Diablo 4 now seems insane to me. Like, Diablo 3 was cool because it was forever since Diablo 2. I hope that trend continues. I don't think we aren't getting Warcraft 4 because they did the card game. That being said I've been there fan of "x" company ever, I've always found that to be incredibly shallow and lame. No creator(s) are that sacred, except maybe when they're long done and dead.
Anyway this Direct was neat, Incineroar looks like he plays alright and Ken is a fun addition too (looks like you can EVO Moment 37 people) but man Chun-Li would have been way more hype and unique while still being iconic.
Piranha Plant is an inspired addition for sure, but I think I'll wait for that one hype af reveal before buying the pass.
I can't come close to affording an Xbox One X at the moment, and I'm not buying it for one game, even if it is a game I'll love and play a lot of. Like the Xbox One X is cool, but it's only exclusive game (since I have a good enough PC to run a lot of games on around High settings) is Sunset Overdrive (and now a nicer RDR2) so I think I'll be fine on my ol' PS4.
I mean it's nice, but I have never had any problems with a Rockstar game technically outside of minor bugs that are just goofy and don't impact the game, or like some slowdown for a quick moment during very heavy firefights. Not a big deal for me.
lol.....in real life people are not that combative and righteous duder. The internet/social media seems to have weirdly hazed some people into thinking that everyone outside the US is like some super severe activist who will give you shit for tying your shoes wrong. Not really, and they never should and it is not something that will help anyone. That being said there are plenty of pretty extreme accounts out there with more than enough valid criticisms of the US, white supremacy, sexism, etc. but that should not stop you from walking out of your front door. The world won't be a better place if people remain milquetoast and cowardly.
go to Japan, just don't suck and be actively polite/careful and you'll be fine. Unless you're going to some really remote village in mainland Asia or Africa, chances are you won't be mobbed or harassed or some shit.
Most people just want to like...go about their day and don't care that much that your ethnicity is not the common one. I mean, some people will try to play you because you're a foreigner; but that will happen in the US, Canada, UK, France, Italy, etc. so it is not uncommon in North America or Western Europe at all.
