I'm gonna go with the Jet Set Radio series and the Hitman series.  I would also put GTA: Vice City in the mix. 

I'm in the running, even if my movie underwhelmed.......

I would frequent gamefaqs several times a week.  I enjoy getting input from everyday people more than I do most "professional" reviewers, that is if you can get past most of the B.S. on the site.
