Up until now there's only really been footage of the girls losing their clothes and the "interrogation" mini games, which is fine and all, but as a wrapper for sexual content, the Bullet Girls games have always been on the weak end of the spectrum when it comes to lewd anime games. With Phantasia, it finally seems like D3 Publisher have found their groove, turning a bad 3rd person shooter into Senran Kagura With Guns: It's a bit EDF, it's a bit Dynasty Warriors.

Graphically the Vita roots really shine through, with some very cheap looking backgrounds, but core concepts of the gameplay, the characters and the world seem solid enough and who knows... Maybe the Bullet Girls franchise will grow to rival Senran Kagura some day?

Gameplay below is Japanese, but an Asian-English version comes out on August 9th.
