The ad could have been made by Microsoft to generate hype. They drop the features of the new model and the name of Natal while giving a fake ugly model to stir up more speculation and hype. That way when they really show of the new Xbox 360 with a better design people will get more excited. Just a thought. Hopefully that isn't the actual design though.

But not all data is transferable via USB stick. Perhaps each Xbox 360 Slim would come with that "transfer cable" that you get when you buy a new 360 so that you can transfer all the data from your old 360 to your new Slim one. "
Not to mention everyone would have to transfer their Arcade Game License if they bought this, which if you already had to do that within the previous year, you're screwed out of your arcade games for a while.
What irritates me a bit is when they will show something like Mario Kart on the television in a movie or television show, but the person playing it is playing it with a Xbox 360 controller on his/her "GameStation 360". In the movie Doom, it annoyed me that they were in the future yet their hand-held video game system was straight out of the 1980's, but that movie was shit anyway so.....

It is a well known fact that all console gamers are trash at video games and computer gamers are l33t at them.
Pretentious and jaded gamer much? I'm sorry but saying video games aren't innovative enough is like saying music today is terrible, yes there is more shit being produced that in previous generations but there is also some very great games being made if you care to look deep enough.

I've just listed some of the new intellectual properties created this generation, all of which innovated in some way shape or form. How can you say the platforming genre doesn't evolve? Mirrors Edge would like a word with you, in fact, I think it would like a whole conversation with you. Now as for computer game" being "dumbed" down for console uers because we are too stupid, please get your snobby ass off your high horse and throw your ego on the way out of Giant Bomb. It isn't the gamer's fault, it is the developers fault.
