I love Luigi's Mansion even if it is too short of a game, been hoping that they'd make a sequel, and this along with the Zelda remake and new Mario Bros. makes the 3DS another Nintendo must buy.

Ever since my wife recently got us iPhones, I've been using it more and more to play games. So far I've downloaded the following:

- Tetris
- Call of Atlantis (Match 3 Puzzle)
- Around the World in 80 Days (Match 3 Puzzle)
- Rebirth of Fortune (Tactics)
- Transformers G1 Awakening (Tactics)
- Secret of Monkey Island SE

The puzzle games are great, the tactical games are good, but a bit awkward, and Monkey Island isn't too bad in this format & still a lot of fun to play. So, can any of you out there reading this recommend any other great iPhone games & don't say "Angry Birds".

The latest issue of Game Informer has a whole article on this subject about the new Unreal Engine 3 and what they've been able to accomplish now with graphics in terms of lighting, and water and smoke effects that is above and beyond what current computers and game systems can do, but they expect that in about three years time all the graphics cards will be able to handle all the new pretty bells and whistles. Plus there was another article about the future of gaming and it basically stated that all the next gen consoles will probably be out in another year or two anyway.

" While I may not get a 3DS at launch, I will get one soon now that I know I can also play Game Gear and TG16 games alongside Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. One thing I would like to know is whether or not Nintendo will let you re-download the TG16 games you got on the Wii Virtual Console. I didn't grab too many TG16 games on that service but I probably will if they're cross compatible like PSone games are for PSP/PS3. "
My thoughts exactly. I will get a 3DS eventually, and am very excited to hear that I will be able to get Game Gear and TG16 games for it, but you do raise a valid question on whether or not you have to reload the same games onto the portable system.

I wrote a previous blog about how much 2 out of the 3 Zynga games on Facebook have become impossible train wreaks to even play anymore since most of my friends have stopped playing it since they became too difficult with all the additions that come out on it every day. Now, I've decided to give this new Cityville game a chance since it's similar to the Sim City series and I've always loved that series. However, as optimistic as I want to be about this game, I just can't help but feeling like a glutton for punishment when it too becomes another train wreak with too much too soon to try and handle at one time, and no friends and neighbors to help out with any of it.

I'm with all the people who have said that they'll wait. The only two titles that I care about are Zelda and Kid Icarus, and they won't be ready at launch. Plus, it's $250 for just the system and $40 for each of the games. Not spending that kind of money. Sure I could just use my DS games for a while, but another con is that the screens on the 3DS are smaller than my DSi XL. I'll just wait for a redesign that's less clunky and with larger screens thank-you very much.

True that they're already on vc, as the original 8-bit versions, but I kind of like the improved graphics. Well, here's to searching the bargain bins and half.com like always. LOL!

O.K. I've resigned myself to the fact that this game apparently sold out completely in most places the day it came out and that the booklet and CD that came with it aren't really worth the $30 price tag. So, I'll just go ahead and wait for a used copy to show up somewhere or hope that it becomes a vc download eventually. That said, I've noticed that E-Bay and Amazon have people selling copies anywhere from $60-$100! And, it looks as if people are actually buying it for that much! What is wrong with people?!?
