This list is supposed to represent games beaten and not just played. This game beat the tar out of me. I originally bought a PS3 well after the PS4 was out because i wasn't going to pay extortion rates for a game that is more style than graphics (computationally speaking). I had heard so many good things about this game (I really need to stop listening to podcasts). I guess a game about Tokyo with such a high population density had me questioning whether or not the world would ever get back to that level again. Characters hanging on to each other and just sitting in a café was a stark reminder of the world that might never be again. The game itself was inane story, inane combat, and a pretty jazzy soundtrack. Though i feel like the lyrics were written by a non-native english speaker so it's hard to follow along with the lyrics because the expected cadences and phrases just aren't what a native speaker would expect. I've heard so many lyrics within the title sequence song that i really don't dare look up the lyrics for fear of my version being vastly off (lyrics change everything). I expected greatness with this game and hated it so much. I just played it because it was something new to look forward to. This is probably the fist game that i actually quit because i got tired of playing it and immediately went to youtube so i could reclaim my life (the semblance of quarantine life) because another 20 or 30 hours beyond the 100 i had already put in just seemed unbearable. I played this game because i like the graphics and cutscenes of Catherine (I quit that game for difficulty reasons). So this is an unbeaten game that I will never finish. I enjoyed some of the stories within and much like Final Fantasy VII this was a game i finished (attempted to finish) for glimpses at the cutscenes. I need to actually look at the cutscenes instead of just listening to a youtuber ruin the ending.
