DS games I bought in Japan but have not yet finished.

List items

  • Thankfully the text in this game uses no kanji, which means less effort when I'm completely lost, which happens often enough. Really crazy, really colorful, cool characters and graphics. Loads of Wizard of Oz going on here.

  • Damn, this game is near perfect. It just keeps going, opening up and revealing features and activities. Can not recommend this enough. I'm almost aware of what's actually happening in the story.

  • Absolute chaos during battle, enhanced by my lack of understanding of the extensive explanations and directions coming from all over steady through the game. Loads of stylish stuff to get emerged in; culture, fashion and music.

  • Thankfully language doesn't play a role here. Cool beats, slick graphics and damn fast.

  • Minimalist graphics and grooves, but works like hell. Enough said.

  • Simple enough, since there's little to no story. Connect three and conquer.

  • I have no idea what to do in this game, but not yet desperate enough to search for a guide. Great use of graphics and sound to really work up a creepy mood.

  • Loads of uninteresting conversation to click your way through towards puzzles and hacking challenges which thankfully often make it worth bearing the interactive novel parts.

  • No clue. Stuff happens, girls make sounds as you poke at them. I can't make heads or tails of what is going on. I only wonder if it would be worth it to translate the commands and keep going.

  • And the same. Bought this used for 500 yen or so, for the fun of it, and felt a bit awkward when the clerk presented the box it came in. Turns out it's a special edition in a shoe sized box, filled with inscrutable accessories.
