Anyone else wishing Vivi's Theme was in the list from FFIX? My favorite FF, and my favorite song in that game besides the main theme (The Place I`ll Return to Someday).
@Napalm: Yeah I know. I S-Ranked F.E.A.R. last year after it being on my account for ages, and I am actually right now trying to 1000 F.E.A.R. Files. Campaign achievements are easier but there are 8 Instant Actions to complete on Extreme. There were only 4 in the first. They really are insanely hard.
@JasonR86: Yeah, I agree they seem like total bros, like really fun to party with. And that is cool, but their music is so technical that kind of attitude does not do them any favors live. I really wish they were awesome live, but I can't really blame them much, their stuff is insanely hard. Its not like I could do any better! Its just disappointing when you pay $50 to see a band and it sounds horrible.
@LooseChange: Hello fellow maggot! Going to see them at Mayhem this year, and I bet they will be great even without Paul Gray.
They seemed to get a bump in popularity with Inhuman Rampage and Guitar Hero/Rock Band but also a bunch of haters started coming out. I think they are awesome though.
Whomever hates Dragonforce is a bad person. I get not liking the music. But you just can't 'hate' them. It's impossible.
I like Dragonforce in terms of their studio albums. My distaste for them came from seeing them live. They were one of the worst live bands I ever saw, those crazy solos plus all I can guess is them all drinking is not an entertaining show.
And to bands I love, I have a soft spot for Paramore. As a "metal fan" I would lose all my credibility for liking teeny pop rock but I really don't care. Another notable mention is Panic! at the Disco.
@BestUsernameEver: Sadly, its very very true. After awhile NOTHING will upset you. Good on you for avoiding it. Some, of my friends still frequent it which I find crazy. I'm talking 20 year-old's here.
The idea presented about instant gratification sound completely feasible. Will this stop my internet surfing habits? Probably not, but good on you for trying it out. I'd be curious to see if getting away from the disposable minute media sites will help. For a few years in junior high I frequented 4chan (Yeah, I know. Not what I would call my best years...) and experienced a similar thing. The first few times I went, you see well a lot of really dirty, stupid stuff and its incredibly intriguing to a stupid teen. Then, after seeing everything a million times, I became really desensitized and eventually grew out of going there. If anything, that is still the case, as if I ever end up seeing /b/ again, nothing has changed and I think "Why the hell did I waste time here?"
I still buy CD's. I'm one of those people that likes to have a physical copy of everything. But I did try out the free Spotify and can see why people like it.
