no, the wow community might be bitching but they wont stop playing.
People are saying this for quite some time, just like they keep repeating that even if WoW would lose X players it still could go on. The truth is that more and more players are in fact quitting. There were several hundred thousands who stopped playing during Cataclysm and even if that looks like nothing compared to the overall players it's still quite a hit. And I honestly don't see a reason why it should stop anytime soon.
WoW wont die anytime soon but lets face it, it's far after it's peak. Personally I wont buy it for quite some time, untill I get bored enough with other games. I was there when BC, Wotlk and Cataclysm started but wont be around this time. It's not simply Pandaria but the new policy they started quite some time back. One of the things wich ruined WoW for me was faction change.
I used to play on an PvP Server with about even sides. That was untill they introduced faction change. Alliance pretty much died out over night. Those who didn't join us at the horde simply left the server because they couldn't play anymore. And raising new characters on the alliance side wasn't really a solution for me and the lack of open pvp resulting from this changes. It's simply not fun if 29303 people attack someone just because you attack them, or getting swarmed by 29303 people if you're trying to play as alliance.
Now Pandaria is supposed to focus even more on the conflict between Alliance and Horde. But what conflict can there be when there's hardly any Alliance to fight against?
I don't even feel like making fun about it. Honestly I tried to come up with something. But there's simply nothing I could say or do to make it worse then Blizzard already did. When this was announced I looked at the date just to make sure it wasn't the first of April. I know there are many people out there who like the Pandarene. But really?
Hell I hated Zulfs, those elite Ura with 10 Idols and a lot of bad luck weren't a joke. In the end I simply threw them off the map with the shotgun and maxed out pushback. Kids and Zias "Who Knows Where" were pretty easy with the Calamity Canon and Shotgun. But it seems like my achievments aren't updating, again. Once they do I have my second "S" Rank, was pretty easy though.
Well yeah it was pretty bad there at the time I stopped playing. But I encountered this "casual" thing all over the place.

Since when is being called a "casual" an insult? Seems more like the person being called that is overly sensitive.
It's not the word. It's about what people try to imply by calling someone an casual. Mostly just for disagreeing with them. At least for me it's kind of annyoing.
I noticed that on many games or game forums people who disagree with other people, simply don't like their opinion or them start yelling "casual casual" when they can't come up with real arguments just to defame the other person. They also do this when they dislike a game, changes made in a game they dislike or just cause. At least for me this is getting increasingly annoying.
Dragon Age: Origins. After playing 2, and being severely disappointed, I just kept finding myself thinking about what I loved about the first one.
I hated Dragon Age 2. It was a horrible game. They completly focused on the Xbox crowd with the new "action fighting" "taking out most of the conversations" and other stuff thinking the PC players would be happy anyway. And don't get me started on the companions, there are maybe 1-2 who are remotely likeable. (Varric and Aveline)
