  • The Joker and The Asylum Steal the Show: Batman is an Incredible Experience and is clearly this years Bioshock (a game with such high quality it surprises even the fans).  I don't want to get into a detailed description like most reviews concerning the Free Flowing Combat & Detective elements being satisfying, or how the Stealth is slick, or how the gadgets are cool.  Just know it all works well and is fun.  What I really want to let ...

  • Maybe I have grown tired of the franchise, but other than an exciting ride on a snowmobile, what will MW2 do for me that MW and WaW haven't done already.  Will MW2 have single player co-op or a survival type mode?  So, far I am not impressed and have decided on other alternatives.  For me I am finding the co-op mode, with over a million weapon variations, interesting graphics, and rpg ...

  • Prototype is like Crackdown meets The Darkness meets Hulk: UD: Prototype mashes the exploring elements of Crackdown, the dark creepiness and overall graphical feel of The Darkness, and the chaotic over the top battles of Hulk: Ultimate Destruction together into a nice mixture to create a wildly entertaining piece of software.  As much as I liked Infamous for how polished it was and had a good story, Prototype is better because the combat is more engaging with more options and the ...

Yes Infamous is awesome, but Prototype is as well, but they are different experiences, so if your wanting Infamous you will have to get a PS3 and its worth it plus all the previous exclusives you have missed and you will be able to play Uncharted 2 and GOW3 when they release.

  • I was alittle pissed they announced a sequel so soon, because honestly the first game was good but WAY to short for the $60 asking price there was only 4 missions lasting an hour a piece and the versus mode was gimpy at launch.  There was not enough content in the first game and now that part 2 is announced it all makes sense.  It feels like valve took the ...

It is good for the purchaser of the game because they get it at a cheaper price and stores like GameStop make tons of cash, but consider the ramifications of supporting the used game industry.

1.  Most importantly the publisher and developers of said game make nothing off used game sales, so you are not supporting them to stay in business and make games you enjoy.  You are simply lining the pockets of game stores like GameStop,  who made I beleive I read 4.4 billion last year and is opening 400 new stores.

2.  To make all this cash they ripoff gamers by offering far less than what a game is worth.  For instance, you buy a game and decide you don't want to keep it, so you go to GameStop and they offer you $25 trade in, then GameStop turn's around and resell it for $54.99 ($5 cheaper than a new copy during the release timeframe) and they have more than doubled their money.

So the question is do we buy games to support developers or do we buy games to support a retail chain.  You make the call.

Gears 2 expandes on the experience in many ways (X360)
The way I see it, there are four things that really improve Gears 2 over the original. One of the biggest complaints about the original was that campaighn was short and the gameplay was not varied enough.  Although Gears 2 seems short it is many times more enjoyable than the original and offers many ...
