@DevilishSix: I think you're process of thinking is excellent. Of course, we don't know their true business designs, but I agree and feel that moving the game closer and closer to all these other release dates is an atrocious idea. I want to be excited about the new Twisted Metal but I can't. Black was the pinnacle of the series and this game is completely ditching that style of narrative. It also doesn't help that we can play games like Territories and CTF in every other game, why bring it to Twisted Metal? I also don't need Sweetimus Prime in my game (especially if everyone else can fly around too).
Thanks for the comments, I agree the transformers in Twisted Metal doesn't work for me. Anyways since Rage has decided to move from September 6 I may just get Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine instead.
Pushing back to October 4 is a disaster in waiting for Rage. Same Day as Twisted MEtal and Darkness 2, a week before Dark Souls, two weeks before Batman, and three weeks before BF3. Then November brings the beasts that will be Skyrim and MW3. Who thought that it was a good idea to move to October should be fired. If they are worried about Gears 3 then then push the launch up to August 30th or August 23rd.
John Carmack in an interview at E3 said Rage is done and they are polishing the game. If thats the case it could and should be released the end of August, thats plenty of polish time. They should look at October and reconsider that timeframe, because it could flop in sales if they stick to October. Just my thoughts.
It is not difficult for a controller to break or wear out, I can't imagine this controller being cheap. IT has 6.2 touch screen, wiireless, processor for graphics, gyroscope for waggle, rumble, mic, and speakers. How could this even be under $100 a pop? It's surely going to be way to expensive for a controller.

No, I'm pretty sure Michael Pachter didn't say that about the DS, that sounds a little too crazy even for him. And regarding the Natal thing, I doubt it will be that cheap, but considering that Xbox as a brand still hasn't made a profit for Microsoft after 8 years, I'm not really sure how valid that sarcastic remark about money is. Appears to me MW 2 uses everything MW had and adds nearly nothing new, in fact MW 2 looks like a rerun of MW and really looks like a lazy effort from IF.

I am not asking for innovation, I am asking for something new in the franchise to make me feel like getting the game. I am looking for game progression. Example Halo 2 offered multiplayer, Halo 3 offered co-op, competitive metagame single player, cinema, and forge, ODST is offering open world SP and firefight mode. Gears 2 offered Horde and a more expansive MP.
With that said, what is MW2 offering thats worth the OMFG inflated Activision price of what $65 for bare bones copy.

maybe you didn't read when I said "what will MW2 do for me that MW and WaW haven't done already ". So, I ask what is new in MW2 whether it SP or MP that hasn't already been done in the franchise? or is this just a rerun with new graphics.
