@heatDrive88: it would have to be substantial too distract from the fact that they said sorry getting caught not sorry for opening up a product removing something closing it up and selling it as new. buy a game from them open the packing at the store then try to return it. i bet they'll say "we can take as trade in cause you opened it". don't get me wrong i'm glad they had to shell out, what is a good deal but it doesn't mean they won't do shit like this again.
@Giantstalker: did you not fill out the survey? that's what Dave used as a guide when he was talking about things like the happy hour on the SNES party stream.
exclusives are only good if it's the platform dev that's publishing them. i mean that in a business sense. third parties get nothing out of cutting down the number of people who can play their game were as sony or ms published games can be the deciding factor in a console purchase. that said i'm of the mind that if you're buying a console cause the games you will eventually have both systems.
as to why most multiplatform games sell more on the 360, the short answer is more people have 360s the long answer gets into the debates that are the stuff of forum legend ie. sega vs nintendo, mac vs pc, quiznos vs subway... cats and dogs living together mass hysteria!
i'm most of the way through Darksiders and i'm really enjoying it. The game is scratching the God of War itch at the perfect time cause when sony dropped the price of the ps3 i was very temped but really shouldn't pick one up right now.
Surprisingly as i kept hearing this called a GoW mixed with Zelda type game i wasn't expecting the metroid level of backtracking to grab items i could see but couldn't get to yet. loving the art style (which was a given as i liked most of his comicbook work) and the over the top violence how ever war isn't quite as much of a jerk as Kratos and that i kind of miss.
i know next to nothing about warhammer 40k but after seeing the quicklook ex and hearing that it's built on darksider tech (which i'm currently playing and enjoying) my interest was piqued. i'll still wait for some reviews or a demo but it's defiantly on my radar now.
@thornie: i go there for Zero Punctuation and that's about it. i don't know how it stacks up against GB as i haven't really gone through their other content, then again that in itself is kind of telling.
