Still gonna be Doom since everybody had a great time with (crucially both Brad and Jeff really like it) and the only really negative part is the multiplayer, which they don't care about the multiplayer, so it won't be in the discussion a lot.

Hitman might make top 3, but it's too easy to fimd fault with it and even though Jeff liked it, he will tear it down to get Doom and Titanfall 2 higher on the list.

This list seems pretty good, but I definitely think Titanfall 2 will get on there instead of Battlefield 1. Any time Jeff finds a game he actually loves, it's pretty much a certainty that it'll get on the list. And I'm sure some of the other duders will enjoy it as well. The Witness is too low IMO, they loved that game and Brad will probably push it into the top 3.

I'm also not sure Gears of War 4 will make it, there's a lot of shooters on the list already and probably other games that Jeff would rather fight for. I could see a game like Firewatch, which they all seemed to like at least or some other smaller game, getting in there instead.

I'll be pretty disappointed if they didn't play the last Mario parties before Dan leaves, but it looks unlikely at this point.

Hottest mess is usually about the media and messaging around a game. And that has certainly been an insane mess for No Man's Sky. That being said a lot of that mess was created by the fans around the game, which GB usually takes less into account when doing their GOTY discussions. So I'm not sure it'll win, but it should easily be in the top 3.

If you're only going for one then VJ is the best to go, since that combo is just magical. But that being said, I'm happy that I watched both, since BR actually lets you follow along with the bonkers story much better than VJ does. BR also has a lot of great moments of Brad being Brad and Ryan taunting him to no end, so IMO both are classics.

I always felt that Drew was the kinda guy that just knew how to save up. What he does doesn't seem crazy considering he probably makes a pretty decent salary.

Danny going to GB has been the dream scenario since those damn Bioforge videoes! But I don't think it's happening, the goodbyes on twitter are to heavy for a minor(ish) move like that and it wouldn't really make sense from a business standpoint.

I think he's seeing where things are going and moving away from the press side of the industry.

And even though only Brad and Dan has played it. Hitman is going to make it in the top 10 as well.

I hate that these lists always try to rank games both based on what constitutes a good game, and general gaming importance. Are you trying to tell me that Pong is actually a game that people would want to play now as anything other than memorabilia? Or that anyone in their right mind would rather play Mortal Kombat 1 than 2 or 3??

If a list like this is to work, it really has to be ranking either one or the other.
