TNA update.

Anthem announced today that they are the new creditor, and pretty much owner, of TNA. Their EVP will be in charge of the company directly, and Dixie will be staying on board as Chair. Billy is no longer with the company...

BUT

Billy went on Twitter today to say that he has yet to be paid back the money that the court says TNA must do. That money was to be paid back by 11/1. Billy stated that he is going ahead to turn that owed money into equity and a 36% stake in the company.

Nintendo doesn't make systems to store in a warehouse. They take orders from retailers, and build systems for those orders. This would be around the time that retailers are putting in their last dollars towards buying product for the holiday season.

So Anthem, Aroluxe, and Dixie are the ones that have an ownership stake at the moment. Billy no longer has any input into the company from a business or creative standpoint.

TNA has until tomorrow to pay Billy back all of the money he put into the company, something that Anthem said they would do, and Billy has until the end of today to decide if he wants to flip that debt into equity into the company.

The rub is that Billy is hugely popular with the locker room, something that might be very shaky if he is pushed out. The same locker room that is not getting paid, and was told by Dixie that there were no talks about selling to WWE, which is not true.

Halloween was worth it for this.

That was probably one of the best livestreams I ever watched.

Incredible guests, a great variety of games, some absolute top tier moments (True Blaze, Scoops + Anime, Dungeon World, Political talk w/Tetris), and a groups of people that love the hell out of what they are doing.

It is amazing what happens when a major media company, like Vice, throws all of their resources into something like this.

@blackblade500: The problem with D&D is that it id super structured from how the world is built to what characters can do. You need a pretty solid Game Master to make an adventure go as entertaining and smooth as what was on stream Sunday night. Dungeon World is great because it just give you the foundation or an adventure, preset character sheets, and a much easier flow to story telling.

I always viewed the first two discs as this group of people just getting by and thinking they were playing hero. They think they know who the antagonist is, what their motivations are, and how to stop them. The battle at the tree threw everything they thought they know about the world on its head, and the group was forced to grow the fuck up.

I think my favorite scene in this whole game is when Zidane saves Garnet and Eiko from the castle, and as they are swinging away, Eiko is PISSED THE FUCK OFF at Zidane holding Dagger.
