@ArchScabby: I think so, but for historical accuracy all of the actors spoke in Japanese.

@SwordSaintSSX: I don't think that the ACII explanation of gods and such lines up with any religion at all. they've already explained that they don't believe in monotheism (obviously, and the fact that (as i've pointed out before) Jesus had a piece of eden is such a sharp contradiction with Christianity it was clear that that was the direction they were going in. I do think you're right about the Mormon thing, though. One of the comments in the codex pages (i think, it may have been on here, lol) talked about how Jesus's story was similar to that of many famous figures, so much so that either the story was passed down but altered to fit the culture (which would explain the Mormon creation thing), or they all carried the same piece of eden (which Jesus's possession of the apple/globe thing would confirm). Of course, that's speculation too (if it was in the game, then it's probably Altair's speculation, since the Philosophical Codex Pages seem to have been written by him)

@HatKing: Love it. My History teacher freshman year found a really bad bootleg dubbed version. Whoever translated it was on crack or was running a scam where they pretended to be a translator, because the subtitles popped up with things like "He's coming Donkey Hour!!!", so the whole class was laughing our collective asses off.
I'd seen the legit version before that though, so I appreciated it in full the first time.

@xyzygy: I thought it was more that the PS3s couldn't process the level of data it takes to run the game at it's graphical quality at a stable framerate, not the Blu-Ray format.

Observation: The title for the glyph 17 puzzle is "The Bunker".  I don't have any photos from the game, but those that have access: can you guys date the photos/ID important dudes in them? "

I'm on the first puzzle for glyph 17 & it seems to be a bunch of pictures of the invasion of Normandy.   BTW this is the hardest puzzle I've encountered in the game so far.

Edit: I broke down & used a FAQ on this one.  Even the faq's answer made no sense to me.  Here's a pic I found.  Letter you unlock has the date of May 2.1942.

If this is like the other one with the wheel, don't you find a symbol with number=symbol somewhere in the pictures/background, then you press R2 and realign the wheel so that the number and the symbol match up? and then you just input the symbol that goes with the corresponding pictures on the wheel.

And since Normandy=WWII I guess this is our proof that Hitler supposedly had a Piece of Eden...or his "double" did.

1. I don't really care about Gamerscore
2. If I did, mine would be over 20k because i had well over 15k in an offline account (before i connected my 360 to the internet), and have 7k in my current xbl account.

@Maxszy: actually Shepard talks about how he had "30,000 men killed in the blink of an eye", implying that he was commanding the forces that got blown up by Al-Asad/Zakhaev in the first game. The game has a lot of plot intricacies that you might not pick up, i'd look at a wiki or something. And even if it was a WTF moment, I think it made for a good shocking plot twist, especially coming off of the escape you make right prior, because you get a feeling of safety, and then you take a double eagle shot to the head. About the not based in reality thing,
1. it was semi-plausible, if you take into account the fact that the current administration is firmly against nuclear war
2. If you disregard your notion of it having to be extremely realistic (which the first one really wasn't, IMO, because the nuclear blast in the Middle East and then the whole averted nuclear blast is also implausible) then i think you'd see that the story really isn't so bad, and certainly better than that of most shooters (i'm looking at you, Halo and Gears of War).

@Suicidal_SNiper: maybe it's not the ACR. I know at least one of the guns had its name changed, I thought it was the ACR but i guess i'm wrong.

I also find it interesting how many games have a SCAR in them- MW2, L4D2, Bad Company 2 (PS3 beta)
